GoLive Simulator is operated by DigiTech Dynamics LLC, based in Minnesota, United States. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us anytime at team@digitechdynamics.com.
GoLive is a simulator. There is no real audience, no public broadcast, and no other users watching you. Every viewer, comment, and reaction is generated by artificial intelligence on a private, single-player session. Nothing you do in GoLive is ever published or shared with other GoLive users.
When you start a simulated stream, GoLive sends three things to Google's Gemini API to power the AI audience. This happens approximately every 15 seconds while the stream is active:
Audio and camera data are transmitted only while a stream is actively running. When you stop the stream, transmission stops immediately. GoLive does not save the audio or camera frames to your device or to our servers.
These are the exact purpose strings shown to you by iOS:
| Permission | What it powers |
|---|---|
| Camera | Lets the AI audience see and react to you during a simulated stream. Video is processed in real time and not stored. |
| Microphone | Lets the AI audience hear and react to what you say. Audio is processed in real time and not stored. |
| Speech Recognition | Transcribes your speech so the AI audience can react in chat. Recognized on-device when supported; otherwise sent to Apple for transcription. |
| Add to Photos | Lets you save your own simulated stream recordings back to your Photos. |
| App Tracking Transparency | Optional. Used to deliver and measure relevant ads via Google AdMob and to attribute installs via Branch. You can decline. |
The simulated audience comments in GoLive are generated by Google's Gemini API. During an active stream, short audio clips and single camera frames from your device are sent to Google approximately every 15 seconds so the AI can respond to what is happening.
We use the paid Gemini API tier. Google acts solely as a data processor and does not use this data to train its AI models, per Google's published paid API terms. Google may briefly log request data for abuse-detection purposes only. See Google's Gemini API Additional Terms for the full details.
AI-generated audience reactions are core to how GoLive works. You can stop transmission at any time by ending your stream. If you do not want to use AI features, do not start a stream.
| Provider | Purpose | What is shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google Gemini API | AI audience generation | Audio clip, single camera frame, text context during active streams |
| Firebase (Auth, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Firestore, Installations) | Sign-in, analytics, crash reporting, profile storage | Account ID, device data, event analytics, crash logs |
| Mixpanel | Product analytics | Event names, screen views, anonymized user ID |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management | App Store transaction ID, entitlement status |
| Branch | Install attribution and deep linking | Install referrer, device fingerprint, IDFA (if allowed) |
| Google AdMob | In-app advertising | IDFA (if allowed), device data |
For full transparency, here is how GoLive's data practices map to Apple's privacy categories. This mirrors what is declared in our PrivacyInfo manifest:
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This deletes your Firebase account, RevenueCat customer record, Mixpanel profile, and all on-device data within 30 days. You can also email team@digitechdynamics.com to request deletion.
Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
You can request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or object to processing. Email team@digitechdynamics.com. We rely on legitimate interest for analytics, contractual necessity for the subscription, and consent for advertising-related processing.
You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information. Some advertising activity may qualify as "sharing" under CPRA; you can opt out by declining the ATT prompt or by emailing us.
Account data and analytics are retained while your account is active. After you delete your account (or request deletion by email), we delete your account record and analytics profile within 30 days, subject to short backup-retention periods that auto-expire. Audio and camera data sent to Gemini during streams is processed in real time and is not retained by us beyond the request.
All network traffic is encrypted using TLS. Secrets and authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. We do not store passwords; sign-in is handled through Firebase Authentication.
Our processors (Firebase, RevenueCat, Mixpanel, Branch, Google AdMob, Google Gemini API) operate primarily in the United States. If you use GoLive from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and potentially other countries where these providers operate.
GoLive is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information in GoLive, please email team@digitechdynamics.com and we will delete it. For more on children's privacy, see the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's COPPA guidance.
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
